Summer 2020 Update

As you may have already heard, the Ontario government has announced that all overnight camps will not open this summer. This will be the first time in 91 years we have not run camp and we understand this announcement impacts all of you and causes great disappointmentLike you, we love summer camp and the way it grows our faith, creates community, and allows us to participate in outdoor activities.
Campers, we will miss you this summer, we know you are sad and that your life has changed so much in the last few months. We want you to know that camp will still be here in the future for more adventures, friendships, and Bible studies.  We want to keep in touch with you over the summer, so watch for ways to connect over social media and on our website.
Parents, we appreciate your support and investment into a camp experience that has positively shaped your children’s summers.  We know that this time has also been extraordinarily difficult for you and we want to continue to partner with you to provide future summer camp experiences that will create memories that last a lifetime. We will be together again.
In the coming weeks we will reach out personally by phone or email to talk through options for cancellations. In the meantime, we have several options for you to consider:
Donation: If you are able, your registration fees can be changed into a full or partial donation. This would be a significant help to us in this very difficult season.
Defer Balance: Camper fees that have already been made can be applied to the 2021 season.
Full Refund: You may request a full refund of fees paid to date, and all cancellation fees will be waived.
We are going to miss everyone in more ways than we can express, but we are not without hope. In this time, we look to Jesus to be our hope. We are fully committed to welcoming campers back for summer 2021, and we know that God continues to be at work, even in this time.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

(Jeremiah 29:11)

With gratitude,
