Shogo Fukishima worship by One80 Worship Team from Heritage College & Seminary

Shogo has been around Pioneer Camp for many years working in many different capacities. He has a heart for seeing students grow and respond to the gospel. He has a passion for spoken word as well as playing a much Ultimate Frisbee as possible. Shogo has a unique ability to connect with students of all ages with his fun-loving personality and challenging teaching. He is currently a school teacher in the GTA. When he is not teaching, he loves to travel the world and update his food blog on Instagram.

Vera Ivankia worship by One80 Worship Team from Heritage College & Seminary

Vera was born in Russia and raised in Toronto. She has a passion for scripture and the discipleship of youth. She worked for 5 years with the InterVarsity High School Ministry and is now loving her first year working on the campus of U of T. She loves God and seeing how he transforms people live.

worship and teaching by Kevin Loten

Kevin Loten is a husband, father, speaker, musician and otherwise ordinary guy. He currently serves as the Lead Pastor at Chartwell Church in Oakville. He and his family recently returned to Canada from Malawi, Africa after spending 3 years living with 90 beautiful adopted children at Iris Malawi. At age 13, he came to faith at Pioneer Camp. He later served at Pioneer as an LIT Program Director, Boys Camp Program Director, and Boys Camp Assistant Director. He loves hockey, music, his family, good coffee and talking about Jesus. He does however, feel strange writing about himself in third person.

Mary-Lue Mahaffey worship by Zach and Amber Bowan from Campus Curch

Lue Mahaffey is a passionate Bible teacher, and adventure enthusiast. She loves opening God’s word in community and seeing people draw closer to the Lord. Originally born in the Philippines, Mary-Lue grew up in the GTA and later lived in Sudbury where she attended Laurentian University and served on InterVarsity student leadership. She has taught overseas in Sweden at a Torchbearer school, and completed her Masters of Theological Studies in Hamilton. One of her greatest desires is to know and love God, and see others experience His deep love. In her free time, Mary-Lue is often out playing sports as well as exploring the outdoors and the beauty of God’s creation with friends and family. Currently, Lue lives in Thessalon and serves full-time within Indigenous Communities in the North.

Unique to RADIATE:

• To equip young people to radiate the love of Christ through gifting, their talents and passions
• Assist in seeing leaders continue to discover and develop their gifts and in turn mobilize them for Kingdom purposes
