They will have the opportunity to enjoy fun camp activities like swimming, rock climbing, evening games and campfires. Take the Challenge, you will never forget it!

Woodland Challenge is a four-week, co-ed program for campers who have completed Grade 9. It includes our longest canoe trips, so get ready to be immersed in the wilderness, sleeping under the stars and cooking over a fire!
Each route of our 11-day canoe trip is tailored to the needs and skills of the campers. Before we leave, our experienced tripping leaders will teach you the skills and techniques necessary for safe travel through the rugged wilderness as well as good stewardship of creation.

Woodland Challenge also includes an introductory 3 day trip, adventure activities, and of course the famous Eco-Challenge where small teams compete in a full day Adventure Race! Woodland Challenge is a unique experience not only because of the outdoor adventures, but because of the chance it provides youth to have discussion about God and His creation, explore scripture and enjoy community in a small group environment.

Minimum swimming levels are mandatory for this program. Campers must achieve a blue lanyard in a swim test upon arrival at camp (including swimming 200m continuously (100m face in), treading water for 5 min and jumping into deep water). Basic canoeing experience is helpful but not a prerequisite. Some outdoor adventure clothing/gear is needed — a specific packing list will be provided upon registration.

Teens & Leadership Summer Camps are memorable with tons of activities, great food and epic adventure! Geared towards Junior and Senior high school students, they are full of energy and all the best that Pioneer Camp has to offer!
