Co-ed, Boys/Girls Program

Come explore the great outdoors while swimming, wall climbing, doing archery, playing sports and much more! Great opportunities will also be there to learn more about God’s love and discuss what a relationship with Him looks like. Our leadership training programs for teens shape character and leadership skills, while inspiring youth to make a difference for Jesus in their home communities.

Program Descriptions:

FUEL continues to be one of our favourite weeks of the summer and we’ve got another jam-packed program for you! Each day will be truly memorable with tons of activities, great food, epic surprises and of course, a legendary FUEL theme. This camp is geared towards high school students and provides a unique opportunity for them to ask relevant questions about themselves and God’s love.

Register for FUEL to end your summer in the best possible way!
Come join IMPACT “sweat & study” servant leadership camp program for youth 13 – 16 (high school). Discover for yourself what living and serving in Christian community is all about. IMPACT is a place where the beliefs of the Christian faith are explored. Camp chores, work projects, relevant Bible studies, activities and leadership opportunities are all part of this exciting program that will start you on the journey of leadership through service.

Impact is offered at both Boys Camp and Girls Camp where you will sleep in chalets, connect as a small group and also be involved in the program activities of either camp. Hours served in the IMPACT program, count towards community service hours required for Ontario High Schools.

Empowering Young Leaders!

The LIT Program at Pioneer Camp has been successfully training and developing young leaders for over 60 years. This co-ed, month long leadership development program provides a personalized, innovative mix of formal and hands-on learning experiences.

Take the Challenge, you will never forget it!

Woodland Challenge is a four-week, co-ed program for campers who have completed Grade 9. It includes our longest canoe trips, so get ready to be immersed in the wilderness, sleeping under the stars and cooking over a fire!
Each route of our 11-day canoe trip is tailored to the needs and skills of the campers. Before we leave, our experienced tripping leaders will teach you the skills and techniques necessary for safe travel through the rugged wilderness as well as good stewardship of creation.

Woodland Challenge also includes an introductory 3 day trip, adventure activities, and of course the famous Eco-Challenge where small teams compete in a full day Adventure Race! Woodland Challenge is a unique experience not only because of the outdoor adventures, but because of the chance it provides youth to have discussion about God and His creation, explore scripture and enjoy community in a small group environment.

Minimum swimming levels are mandatory for this program. Campers must achieve a blue lanyard in a swim test upon arrival at camp (including swimming 200m continuously (100m face in), treading water for 5 min and jumping into deep water). Basic canoeing experience is helpful but not a prerequisite. Some outdoor adventure clothing/gear is needed — a specific packing list will be provided upon registration.

Teens & Leadership Summer Camps are memorable with tons of activities, great food and epic adventure! Geared towards Junior and Senior high school students, they are full of energy and all the best that Pioneer Camp has to offer!
